Settled in beautiful Matakana, Barn Door and Speakeasy is a beautiful rustic venue that can be hired out for private parties and weddings. A few months ago Annie, the owner, decided to host an Italian long lunch for some of her friends. And we were lucky enough to cater for this lady only event.

We created an antipasto table that consisted of arancini (our delicious risotto balls), marinated olives, bruschetta, Italian salumi and cheeses.

Was then followed by beef ravioli with herbed butter and a pumpkin, goat cheese and thyme risotto. All paired with our rocket, pear, ba;samic vinegar and parmesan salad.

Last, but not least, our homemade tiramisù.

All of our menu was gluten free, except for the artisan bread (which we handled in a separate kitchen).
